- Usage data: Number of rewrites, timestamps, model preferences
- Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card details
2. Text Processing
Important: Text you submit for rewriting is sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) for processing. We do not permanently store your submitted text. A preview (first 100 characters) may be logged temporarily for debugging purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the ReWrite service
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
- To communicate important service updates
4. Data Sharing
We share data with:
- AI Providers: Your text is sent to Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google for processing
- Stripe: For payment processing
- Firebase/Google Cloud: For authentication and data storage
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and secure cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud/Firebase).
6. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active
- Usage logs: Retained for 90 days
- Submitted text: Not permanently stored
7. Your Rights
You can:
- Delete your account by contacting support
- Export your data upon request
- Cancel your subscription at any time
8. Children's Privacy
ReWrite is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
